MG, the founder and Principal of High Tide, is dedicated to client engagements and lead generation. Outside of High Tide, MG oversees finance and accounting at Apex Leadership Co., a franchise that raises over $60 million annually for children. His responsibilities include treasury, FP&A, operational initiatives, and investor relations.

With a robust background in private equity and investment banking, MG has closed over $915 million in transaction enterprise value across five deals in various industries. Recently, he focused on idea generation and due diligence in the energy sector for Elliott Management, a global activist hedge fund. He began his career at GulfStar Group, a prominent lower-middle market investment bank.

MG is a licensed CPA in Texas and graduated cum laude from Rhodes College with a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce & Business, where he was also a varsity lacrosse athlete. In his free time, MG is a competitive sportsman who enjoys traveling, golfing, fishing, and exploring steep ski terrain.
